Can someone explain the difference between a custom and a one-off for me again please? And explain why this is a one-off and not a custom. Thanks.

Well I could be wrong, but I think this guy would be considered a custom. A one off is a production piece made in an edition of only one. An example would be a lot of figures by motorbot. He releases a sculpt in a bunch of one off color ways. A custom on the other hand is a figure originally created by someone, and then customized by someone else.

Yeah, Thanks, Dun. We had an "episode" couple of months - or was it years? ago.
One moderator changed "One-off" to "Custom" without conferring with the other mods.
Result = Today we have A LOT of inbetweens.
I totally agree with your definition, but done is done. It's irreversible now. :(
But please do us all a favour and mention it, like you did right now, and we will turn things back to "normal". :) -

Aww, you are very welcome!!!!!!! and i am a big fan of this project! 8-ball is such a cutie! can't wait to hold my own special little guy for my collection in my hands next year (soooo long ahead) :)

agreed!!! dude did a wonderful job on this piece!! i especially love the little skull ball in the middle hehehe
and this custom is long gone, too ^_^
the piece from tom connors, where monsterforge and i commented on was not specifically intended for the custom itself, but rather the platform / 8-ball project.
(but i must say, tom's black, gray and yellow combo were well picked colors, too ) :) -
