LOL I remember when they released the action figures! It was also at the point of over saturation for the brand :P

At the time I thought it was stupid to release them, as the cool part is to throw around the balls. NOW I wish I had the action figures! They are far cooler than the balls LOL

This is the re-release. The original Madballs were released in the 80's.

According to the link they were re-released in 2007 (they made the business partnership in 2006)
