indeed still released by kaiju coup via lottery to buy, mostly in runs of 6 per colorway at around $220, but the base vinyl is produced / manafactured by medicom, their logo is at the top of the page u linked to and their logo is on the bottom left of the base with the kaiju coup logo on the right.

It isn't a mini figure so it wasn't in a series, it's a new 6" Simpsons vinyl release :)

Kidrobot is honoring the father of primetime animation in the only way we know how – making him into a 6-inch vinyl toy. Complete with goatee and glasses, director’s jacket, and pad and pencil accessories, it is the first EVER Simpsons Matt Groening toy.
