I just read the Tristan Eaton's interview with Stephen Bliss on vinylpulse. What was screenprinted on the dollar yours came with? Was it red or black?

No dollar, which is odd, as I have it from new, supposedly.

In-fact I have a bunch of different thundermutts, and none of them have anything in the head.

What? That sounds like a rip-off. I've seen pictures of the dollars. If I bought that toy, it wouldn't be for the toy. It would be for the dollar.

No! The silver ink is still smearing days after the fact! I feel like if the wind blows on it, it might just disappear. Ron signed it a second time in black Sharpie on the back of the torso, and that's nice and dry and crisp. I think he did both of your autographs in the silver pen, right? Maybe you should ask Kozik for a tip on how to dry it... :)

To the right you can see it saying "Where to buy" next to that there is a purple button that says 'ADD', click that and fill out your details and people can contact you directly through that.

I have this guy somewhere, but the paint is different and I don't think there's any articulation. I guess this is a reissue, because I bought a ton of these things back in the late '80s/early '90s. I wish I knew more about them.

Yeah this is the newest release of the "TV version" Bemstar, if you got yours in the 80s/90s it may have been a re-issue of an even earlier version! Does it say Bullmark on its foot?!

It doesn't exactly have articulation, its just not possible to rotocast as one piece so they are construction joints. The arms are still moveable but kinda pointless as its flush against another surface.

Since 2007 they have released some redesigned "realistic" versions but this is what it looked like in the show. Each figure also comes with a card for the Daikaiju carddass arcade game.

Anyone else got totally confused with the sizings of these figures?! They make them in 4''. 5.5'' and apparently 8'' :S

Well, these are the Dark Horse figures, and obviously the Qees have the uniform Qee style hands, if that makes any sense. What confused me even more was the Forbidden Planet Manchester slip up, whereas 4'' Domos were selling for £9.99, 5.5'' Domos were £4.99 :S

Don't you just love them! I am crazy for insane kaiju :P I have more but I cant find good enough images/still need to setup my photo booth. Great vinyl releases by bandai and at only 800 yen how can you go wrong!

Yeah dinotank is a laugh!

I think its more of a market strategy. I believe they know children are not the only consumers and invest in a higher quality toy production for the Japanese release. As even bandai release "lower quality" toys in America.
