Yoshitomo Nara Ceramic "Puppy Bookends"
- Description:
-
The image of the “Lonesome Puppy” appears frequently in Yoshimoto Nara’s work. Its quiet, somber disposition takes a central role in a short story he wrote for children, called “The Lonesome Puppy.” Similar to the American story of “Clifford,” a large white dog wanders alone through the city, too large for people to notice him. It’s not until a small girl climbs to his level and sings a sweet song for him to find the friend and the life he has always wanted.

Not in the original box and with a very small chip at the bottom on the roof on one side, but I would sell it if someone wants to purchase it
