There are tons of Mcfarlane sports toys out there that predate the Upper Deck All Star Vinyl Figures & Mindstyle figures. But "designer toys" is a different story. Not sure how I categorize those Upper Deck figures, at least the early "limited edition" version of the figures.

Mike Tyson might be the first. Plus there are the Upper Deck All Star figures, which included Kobe.
