Yeah, I don't think these ever had an official release b/c of the way the gold turned to patina. Ironically, I don't often go for a straight-up gold colorway, but I LOVE the green-gold look of this figure.
Yes, this golden-green Booted Glamour Cat is rad! I still need this one and the Ultra Violet to complete my cats... I wish Scott Musgrove would do more toys. He has so many characters with a huge potential to become amazing toys!
There was an offer a while back to send in your gold Glamour Cat and have it repainted in gold paint that wouldn’t go green. I took advantage of it and have a nice gold one now. The green/gold is nice too, except when it oozes or bleeds on you. :)
I am a sucker for rare, unreleased stuff so when I was graciously given this, I loved the fact that it was a factory reject... LOVE IT, and all the green ooze that it comes with :-)
