I think the body is made from ABS plastic,the same as actual cassette tapes :)

I have just picked these up, the feet don't stand particularly flat, but it looks like this picture is the same. Is this normal?

The boots are removable, so they're easy to twist and tweak to get them to stand straight.

I didn't realise you could remove the boots, didn't want to pull to hard, incase I broke them. Thanks.

Just one of those things I think. They were mainly a corporate design group but they didn't get enough work to keep the company together. The toys they did were just a fun thing they did on the side. They did publish a book of their work though that you can sometimes find. It is on Y!Jp pretty regularly.
