Yep, pretty sure they're all one-offs. They are individually numbered:

Plus they change to sold out as soon as you buy one, so they must all be one offs. Really like them, I have ordered a couple. Good pricing to.

Yes, 20 bucks for an original little art work is a bargain. Btw, I think I read somewhere that the blood pedestal is made of resin. Is that something you can confirm?
-
Looks that way.
Google translate is pretty funny......
"Teddy bear for the conference is "pedestal" Blood Resin is attached.
I got to decorate a stable magnet because there were charged with.
This series is also looking forward to future developments, so we are always in stock various colors. "

I love this pic. Doesn't look at all like a 3D toy, but a dusty oil painting on canvas by Vilhelm Hammershøi. In this case the pic almost looks cooler than the toy.
Shit, you are pulling my leg... this IS a painting, huh? -

Not perfectly sure, but I would say no. This Tomenosuke version is way bloodier than the Minty one. But I'm not sure.
Edit: I saw these yesterday on the Tomenosuke site and Minty wasn't mentioned. -

The Boots and gloves look dirtier to, so maybe not. And only 3 in the quantity, guess this will be a nightmare to get hold of if it is a different edition. Damn by completist nature.

Oh, Minty WAS mentioned. These are extra bloody customs:
"You can get the official KEIKOTROOPER battle damaged at mintyfresh on February 1. However more severely damaged Tomenosuke custom will be released from our shop soon. Only 3 pieces were made by shop manager Enomoto-tencho (aka.Eno) who is a professional toy customizer." -

Damn it, oh well, maybe one will pop up on the secondary market sooner or later, probably for a pretty penny though.
-

@ Dan, you really want them all don't ya? Haha!
Still waiting for The Illusion of Depressing Love though!! -

Hi guys!
This is indeed the non official Battle Damaged version by Eno.
I love this piece, to me the blood on the helmet was the seller ;-) But if it can make you feel better Dan, it does not look good next to the OG (which suddenly look very 'plastic', cheap IMO).
Hope it will be nicer with the official Battle Damaged, I'll keep you posted in a couple of months... -

I have been a sculpture for a while now, but I only sculpted using sculpey and super sculpey. How would one make a sculpture using Resin? Any advice would be grand.
-
They aren't sculpted in resin, they're cast. The basic figure can be made of whatever you want I guess, then you make a negative mold where you pour liquid resin into, which then hardens and voilà – you can make an infinite army of your own toys.

Rotocasted vinyl is still the main thing in the toy world. But be careful if you try with the clear ones. Vinyl drips really look awful: http://rotocasted.com/ToyPunk...

wow, thanks everybody. I think I will give this a try.

what is the best paint to use? I am currently using acrylic. Also, been considering investing in a airbrush. Any and all comments will be appriciated
-

acrylic is widely used on vinyls and resin.. try custom toy union or the kidrobot forums for help.. ive been trying to get some the last couple of months and have been unsuccessful =(

I have a fondness for resin art toys, I don't know what it is. Maybe the weight, the texture or the way resin holds detail differently to vinyl. If I could start collecting art toys again I think I'd have a particular focus on resin figures. I just love them very, very much...
-

as do i.. really dont unserstand why some vinyl collectors choose to alienate resin. its great stuff!
-

Resin is boss. However, still love my vinyl. I do love the weight of a resin piece, yet I love the feel of a smooth Japanese vinyl piece...I know that sounds erotic, LOL, but you sofubi lovers know what I mean ;)
I am on a paint quest as well. I like a water-based paint for ease of use/clean-up/thinning for a brush. Yet, I am also experimenting with a paint called Mr. Color... a strongly pigmented paint that goes on thin, dries flat... email me if you like we can talk customizing auryndesign@gmail.com -

auryn- for the acrylics i use, i usually use this stuff called 'pink soap'. it cleans and conditions the brush. it gets all the acrylic off and works very well. check it out if you use a lot of acrylic.. i use about a 50/50 of acrylic and 'graff' paint.. that stuff is so harsh on me brushes that i just use my crappy ones and have to dip em in acetone after im done with em..

Man, what a mini! So many things going on here. Coffin slowly opening. The tounge coming out of the car. And the best part: those skinny fingers on the wheel, not unlike this fella: http://rotocasted.com/toy/34966/
