So - i have 3 or 4 of the funky colour Monkey Assassins...But, and this is UNRELATED to me...they are sticky...a little like some of the Dunny arms...any customisers wanna take them, wash off the sticky, blank them and do all that games workshop jazz...?
Let me know. -

not only your monkeys are sticky, delme, don't worry :-)
I guess all (or the majority) are that way- it must be a production issue. I have 3- sticky as hell- but the design is great, so I love them anyway -

amavevera - i have a few non sticky ones, so what they hey, i'm gonna ditch the others...Postage gets sticky monkey.

It's impossible to tell from this photo, but is the collar blue or black?
Maybe this pic is better?

I have discovered I have one of these left in it's bag (unopened) as sent by PlayImaginative (no box) If anyone is looking for my FrankenTrexi let me know. (I'm not expecting a rush!)
I also have a unopened full set of Series 3 (no boxes, just bags, as sent by PI) if anyone is looking for a full collection. (Unlikely i know)
I guess this is what some toy folk would call an AP, and subsequently hike the price up with the implication being that they are selling artist proofs of their toy design (APs). They rarely, if ever, are of course as AP's are something that come BEFORE full production, invariably for sign off pre the general production phase...so what most artists actually get and sell is a bunch of the same production toys we all try and buy on release except they just call them Artist Proofs. Really they should be called Artist Payments if anything...
Can you tell that it irks me that some artists tout standard production dunny and qee toys as artist proofs? -

@delme how much will one of the trexi series 3 cost?(:

MaquetteCity - the first 'sculpts' i saw were the ones in the first photo, that was the 1st time i had anything 'real' to pick up (it's a heavy resin type material) i presume it was done via some rapid prototyping machine based on the illustrator turn-arounds and 3D renders i had made. I'm in London, the proto was done in the US the toys were made in China....so i was very arms length with this part of the process.
