i have to agree with @saucemoola's comment from five years ago - just because someone is asking for $X on ebay doesn't mean it's worth that much or will sell for that much. an actual closed auction sold price is really the only useful info in that arena.

Holy smokes. That is awesome! Were you in Nagoya for the show? I was under the impression that he made two of each design but he always keeps one. I could be completely wrong on that though...

My Japanese buddy went to the show a few years ago for me :-)
Yes, he makes 2 for his handmade ones and keeps one for himself and sells the other one in his gallery..
