nathan used to create wonderful innovative and such different little creatures.
i love his style, but when i saw the misko platform, i was baffled to read, this is a design from him.

I read that Nakagawa only sells his toys if you get to see them in person, so good luck getting one... :P

This is a totally amazing piece!! -

Holy smokes. That is awesome! Were you in Nagoya for the show? I was under the impression that he made two of each design but he always keeps one. I could be completely wrong on that though...

My Japanese buddy went to the show a few years ago for me :-)
Yes, he makes 2 for his handmade ones and keeps one for himself and sells the other one in his gallery.. -

Changed the year to 2012. Not sure where the "Hoarder" name came from. I haven't seen that anywhere. That's what it says on Trampt, but that's not exactly a reliable source.
-

well Chris (squink) added it to Trampt himself with this name so i'd say it was safe :)

Sweet. I guess that means they'll all have cute names. I figured they'd still be Suii, Poli, etc.

These wooden toys from Vitra are really something else on the toy scene.
@saigonradio, how big are they? :) -
12 years ago
That's wrong. These dolls are bigger and vary from 6" to 11".
-
12 years ago
It's wrong. Also notice that all Alexander Girard toys on allmoder.com have exactly the same measures, and they are clearly of different sizes. These are different, but these dolls are roughly the same size: http://www.vitra.com/en-no/ho...

Thank you, hu8o. Awesome research :)
I've added the size for the first 11 Vitra Dolls. Now we only miss the rest! ;p -
