I'm pretty sure this character was actually called Pon de Lion and the actual doughnut it was a character for was the Pon de Ring. A quick google image search using google.co.jp will bear this out.

Yep, it is Pon de Lion. That's what comes from uploading too many toys at once! Thanks.

Picked it up at the ICA UNKLE gig... still kicking myself that I didn't buy that Futura 2000 print that was on sale there as well!

I have this toy from the ICA UNKLE exhibition, one of 300 from 2003, still sealed in plastic. Really like it but I'm trying to raise some money so I'll be ebaying it soon. Will post a link here in case anyone is interested.

This is known as the "US Tour" Limited Edition. While it was available at SDCCI, you could also get one at the various signings held throughout the summer. It also glows in the dark.

Those two holes in his head are where his antennae used to be. There are very few toys of his age that still have them. He is therefore not a 'good' specimen of Goldar. But I wouldn't have been able to afford him if he was!

How about photos of each toy individually?
-

I could do that. But I had this group photo sitting around, so i thought I'd start by adding that so at least there's something up here for Parappa toys. Separate photos would mean doing some dedicated shooting, and I will... when i get time to dig the pieces out of their boxes.
