Elissa, you're so lucky that you get to go to the Cavey party!
Say hi to Holly from me, and try to sneak one of the new Caveys out in your handbag. The check is in the mail. :-P -

Haha :P I wouldn't class a five hour coach journey lucky, but yeah, it's pretty good :P
I could get you one and send you it if you wanted...?

i love this picture and how beautifully those squbes fit on each other

Shankweather, I think the gray/ grey thing has already been sorted, that's why it's tagged as grey :)

Pure minimalism. Nice grey too!
I would definitely love to have several Squbes in different colours and build a wall. -

Oh, okay, I'm glad you put it that way. What else I don't get... putting the month before the freaking day of the year! :D

No we do that one right. That's how you say it, "May 5th." Nobody says "5th of May." Notice how I put the periods inside the quotes, too.

5. Maj
-
-
counter point: cinco de mayo. and day/month/year just makes sense from an ascendancy standpoint, smallest unit to largest unit. do you tell time minute:hour:second? =p

Why would you take an old male name like Jan and change it into female? Why? Why?
And what about Kim? Bo? -

sbb that's Spanish. They put their adjectives after their nouns, so they're a mess to begin with. We write out our dates, "December 25, 2011" so we abbreviate them the same, "12/25/11." The metric system is for losers too, and men named Jan are an abomination.
-
-

Haha those are some pretty intense statements Shank. On behalf of Canada, we love all of you and your systems, and would like everyone to get along.

TPJ: Jan the woman's name is usually short for Janice or Janet, and pronounced with a soft G sound. Jan the man's named is pronounced like "yahn," so they're very different things. -
-
the name "issue" and relation with the genders depends on the countries and even continents, you come from/ live in, combined with the main language of the nationalities.
i can see the confusion with the typical assigned gender of the name JAN as a female for english speaking nations due the different pronunciation.
but nobody in europe (perhaps english speaking countries excluded) for example would assume, that JAN is a females name, nor the short version of janet/janette or janice.
so, where i come from JAN is a complete name for a male and it would never be chosen for a female.
and i maybe even would say, that people from the UK are used to jan as a male as well, because it is a very common and often given name in the neighbor countries...
so, i stop this name analyzation now and let toys be our priority

reminds me of carrot cake (minus the blue flakes, of course). all of the cupcake buddhas have that "dessert-y" feel... or at least they do to me. =p
-

I could be wrong... but I don't think elissa was thinking about cake.

From what I can work out, they have done lot of colours, but only make 1 of each colour. I think they did a pink one.
-

the cny (chinese new year) ones tend to be gifts from ash to whoever. for standard releases, keep an eye out on the three a blog to find out when drop dates are, and you can buy them from the bambaland online store. (you can also buy my tq reimi, if you want... =p)

there's something very organic and truly alien-feeling about them, and the use of clear vinyl is gorgeous
