This is a custom paint job by Kaijin right? I don't remember this being a commercially released version.

I truly don't know. I found it during a recent trip to Japan. I did notice the eyes are different from the other Steinys.
My guess is that it came from the recent relauch of the new steiny. If the arms are moveable then it is the new model if not then it is an old one. Nice pick up either way.
