"Little Hunchy had a hunch. He was unlike most kids, with a large and dragging arm and eyes without eyelids. His family business was assisting in creepy labs, picking up body parts and putting them on the slab. While other boys his age were going off to school, Hunchy moves abnormal brains and practices how to drool. He loves shadow puppets, they are all his pets. The bat, the dog, and of course the bird do not require vets. Hunchy works so very hard in the lab each day, but someday poor little Hunchy wants to go outside and play. "

The GID effect in these toys is completely wicked. You wont comprehend until you see it, but the glow is sick green. Arms turn 360 degrees giving him the hysterical expression I love. Recommended.

When I got this and checked it against the picture on her website, mine doesn't have "Julie West" on the base of the foot. Does anyone else's?
-
I've also got a version with no 'Julie West' on the base of the foot.
-
Maybe it was just Julie's own that were marked in that way.
-
I thought there was only green, damn I need to find a black version as well now!!
-
No, I'm pretty sure this green is the only version from the series. I'm thinking it is just hers that is slightly different, or the photo was.
-
It is a very dark almost black green. Easily confused, especially in photos.
-
Agreed.
Did you get any doubles in the Skelanimals 2 blindboxes? -
13 years ago
Haven't had a chance to open them yet mate, case is still sitting next to me, wanna save the moment. Bound to be loads of doubles as there is 14 in the series (as far as I know) and 25 in a case. I'll let you know what doubles I get ASAP. Cheers.

Uh-huh! Or the blue one! *drools*
Btw, jazzydan, does your blue one also have a much "softer" head? My blue's head feels like it's made from another sort of vinyl than the body parts. -

Hey guys! My blue one's head also is very squishy. Did you hear the rumor that there's an 8-inch Qee of Jason's Visible Qee illustration in process? :)

Yes. I saw it somewhere on the net. So excited! -And you have of course already gotten hold of the extremely limited (100) “Qee Anatomy” art print? It's so dope! He even threw some of his stickers along with it. Sweet guy! :)

Strange with that squishy blue head! I mean, the rest of the body is also transparent. Why use different kinds of vinyl?
-
-

Mine is kinda squishy, also has a big air bubble, but I kinda like the bubble looks cool.

During the mid-eighties neo-rockabilly craze lots of young men were putting pomade in their hair and getting fresh tattoos. All this petroleum waste from hair pomade, mixed with peeling skin from tattoos, combined to line sewer pipes deep under the streets. A jolt of radiation from a black market Russian nuclear device in 1995 gave life to a bubbling mass of hair, pomade and skin cells.
The result, born in 2005...Greasebat. It is unknown if Greasebat is good or evil, he seems to be attracted to industrial areas, usually chemical plants. He clumsily destroys everything with his short legs and poor vision from separately rotating eyes. He has been observed eating barrels of heavyweight motor oil and old stock vinyl for pressing records.
He can fly short distances and is a ferocious fighter who will use anything within reach to defeat his opponent. His oddly shaped body is covered in thick armored scales, and his head with bulbous jelly like pustules. -

I had to add this because
a.) I love it, and
b.) I need it. -
I'll second that, and
c) can't go on with out it. -
Can't go on? You mean life, toy collecting, or Rotocasted? :D
-
Life obviously!
Life, don't talk to me about life. -
You make a good point, and then you confuse me. It's like the other half of Jazzydan's personality wrote that second line. Let's call him Nadyzzaj.

I was doing my best Marvin the Paranoid Android impression ;)
-

Who?

Marvin is a gloomy robot from "Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy." You're British, right? How do you not know this already? ;)
-

Thanks Tristan

I've never read the book... I saw half of the film remake once, and I was hardly watching it. Fail on being British on my behalf then :)
-

After thinking about this for a couple of weeks, and realising that if I bought it on Artoyz it'd be £80+ when translated from Euros, and only £58+ from Toy2r USA, I've just ordered the vinyl beauty :D
-

Doh, you should have got me to include it in our order.

I know yours has, you sent me a picture of your toy haul, remember? Mentioning packaging again, but the box is so nice and shiny :) It's UV varnished... (working at a printers makes you sound like a geek) :)
-

You sound worse than me. My mates hand me a printed document, and I tell them what paper it is on etc, SAD!!
-
Oh noes Jazzydan! You're like Gary at my work, he can tell the weight and finish of paper just by feeling it.

Brain Pattern? To me it looks a lot more like intestines.
-
-
Yes! I agree...I think thats because the lines between the ridges are black, suggesting no connection at all, like in intestines, rather than with valleys like a brain?
IRL it looks a little more brain-like though. I'm not sure why.
