yeah seems fair to me, will the release be in resin too or is it just the prototype? (just curious)

I love the piece and Travis artwork, but as it's a 3D print from digital model you can see how the eyes are 100% identical and pointing mathematically same direction and teeth are simply copied bulky 3D objects. This face is screaming for little assymetry.

I don't think the eyes are identical, just all looking to the same spot, and if you look at the original painting it's one of the things that make it sort of eerie.
the teeth are a weak spot in what I think is an otherwise very strong sculpt, but still, obviously not a deal breaker for me :) -

Just got mine! I am VERY disappointed in it. The paint job is quite poor, there is a finger mark, uneven paint coat and most of all, a big unevenly dried paint mark on the forehead that is starting to chip.
It isn't vinyl, inside I have something loose and it hits the sides with a ceramic sound.
The yellow isn't as vibrant as I would have expected but I can live with that, the poor paint job is what makes me very upset. -

Sent an email about my situation, they were champs and going to help me out.

I got mine today and I love it :)
no QC problems, though oddly, mine doesn't feel like vinyl either... -
-
Yeah, I asked why it wasn't vinyl. They were not able to produce it how they liked without getting ugly mould lines, so they went with another material and process.
They must have printed all the stickers before they changed it. -
14 years ago
Did anyone get a box with theirs? I got it packed really well but no packaging, just a few stickers.

yeah, mine came in a box - simple brown box with a sticker with the name of the figure, Eric So and Yone. inside it was also packed really well.

material should be polystone

Got my replacement. Still would prefer higher QC but directly 'front on' its fine for my display.

I take that back, the blood is from the tears of ebay bidders. $3,350!!!! Damn
-
What really pisses me off about such flippers is not even ridiculous prices they ask, but the fact they sell something they don't even have in hand yet!
-
It would be cheaper to fly over to Rotofugi to buy one in person.
-

I wish I was rich enough to even START flipping. *shakes fists at rich collectors who can afford ridiculous prices*

I don't see a problem with flipping. I got two and flipped one. I wasn't planning on flipping it. I was going to use it to trade for a Filth dunny, but when i got home one just sold on ebay for $600. So i put one for $510 with a Mustard, Pon golden ticket, and DJ Lance Dunny and it sold within an hour. Hate all you want. Those $500 are going back in the toy fund.

I don't hate on anyone making a profit, the problem with flipping is that it drives prices up, make many pieces unreachable for the average collector. *shrug*

This is my second go around collecting and the Huck Gee was the only thing I ever flipped. You do have a point yourjello, but it seems the price for several Kidrobot SDCC 8" dunnys stays around mid to low $200. Overall prices seem to be coming down.

mid to low $200's- that's a 150% increase. Remember when the 8" dunnys cost just $50? Good times.....
