I'm totally kicking myself right now. Just missed this far out piece on the bay, because I went for "best offer" instead of simply buying it right away. My best offer was $15 under the buy it now price, but some lucky bastard snatched it for only 5 bucks more. I tell you, guys, it will take some time for me, to forgive myself. *kick*

I'm really not feeling this series, like I wasn't really into the last. Am I the only one?

^ You have company at the KR boards, I for one am, especially this beast bro's. SO fresh!

I wasn't into the first series at all, until I noticed a post on KR forums explaining the reasoning behind all the designs and how they related to south american culture. A lot of them had some deep reasoning behind the piece. Which I thought was really cool- I guess that is a cool aspect of the series featuring countries, that the dunnies end up inspired by the culture... as opposed to most series, which seem like they are often inspired by just the individual's style (not that that is always bad of course, just nice to see a change).
I am not super into most of this series, with exception of this piece, I love this. But maybe if I find that there is thick significance behind the designs, I could change my mind...I thought KR would do this with their mini website, but I didn't really see anything of the sort. -

I don't think the drawings released do them justice to be honest. I'm expecting to like them more in the flesh. I reckon theres at least 6 or 7 awesome ones!!
Weird case though, case of 25 boxes for only 17 figures, and only 1 high ratio, and 1 chase! I reckon there must be some mysteries to this release.
And £9 each or £225 a case! Ouch! Thanks KR!! -

There's a rather interesting page here, with 360 degrees view and info about artists and their inspiration behind each design : http://sites.kidrobot.com/dun...

Resin? Isn't it whatever plastic they make action figures out of?

monsterforge: It's actually a really nice figure and it doesn't hurt that "Donnie Darko" is one of my all time favorite movies. :)
There's also a 12" version that speaks different phrases from the movie. Great price here: http://www.entertainmentearth... -

Man, I love Donnie Darko, I need to get this, he'd look great next to my NECA Ash's.

I never even knew this existed until I was just at a friend's house the other night who isn't a collector but had this on her shelf.

I like this photo, but for the library it will be better to have just the Croc in the frame, not the composition of shots.
Thank you! -

If anyone has any info on this particular Ultraman figure, please help me fill in the blanks.
The only thing printed on the figure is "NO:6688". It's pretty big (15"), has 6 points of articulation (feet, legs, arms and head) and is battery powered.
This is the only text-info I have:
"Turn on the button, ultraman will send Red light, accompanied by the voice of the Ottoman battle, it is able to attract baby's attention"
I wouldn't use this to attract my baby's attention, cause it sounds terrible and very distorted. :)

I propose we get a new 'want' button to click. As in 'never want.' Would that be too offensive to the creators?
