Does anyone know if taking the monkey or any other vinyl toy out of its original plastic bag decreases the value? Does keeping it in the original sealed plastic bag damage it over time? thanks

Strictly speaking it probably does decrease the value a little. But let the monkey out, enjoy him! ( and keep the packaging)

Oops! Whoever added this toy obviously don't have it. Just one look at the bottom of the toy and it reads quantity 500. My copy is 084/500.

thank you for thinking of me, Avri, very nice of you. I am afraid that I have to postpone the Taxali monkey (I do want it badly, that's true) because i just returned from my summer vacation so I am absolutely broke :-) Not even a cent for toys these days. it was strange entering Playlounge store in London yesterday and not buying one thing, haha

Toy, does he have a lil switch in the back of his head that you can turn left and right or is it "loose" like the eyes of Zliks and you can roll them around with touching the eye directly?

No, you just use your fingers to adjust the eyeballs, yeah like with the Zliks!. You can really change the whole look of the toy with these posable eyes. Unfortunately my boy's left eye is pretty loose. Keeps falling down.

gotcha! and i am sorry, that your little friend got a sad hang eye. i bet it looks funny when this happens!

I’ve finally got me one o’these!
It really doesn’t disappoint, its clean and well made, understated and a real art piece. I love the squatness of him (her?). Part of me wants Monroe to make another toy; another part feels it’s nice to have, in effect, a one off. I’ve also just bought the small format “Sour Leaves” book/comic, a perfect companion to the toy!
Oh, and all thanks to a Rotocasted deal! :)

I like the fact some artists are not in this just for the money or the long haul as a dedicated medium, and only do a few figures or so and that's it. Makes their creations more special I'd think...

I agree Shellie,Dave Kinsey's Madness, Sadness and Content are probably my favourite figures of all time, and I doubt very much that he'll ever do another. :)
