No difference. Same figure, but the one in a box is a bit more expensive because of Chris Ware's illustrations. Sort of collector's edition or so.
Btw, we need more Chris Ware toys. -

It sold pretty quick after i put it up.
Biggest problem with these things is I always feel kinda bad when listing them on the webshop for prices like this but I know that when people buy it for €100 within 15 minutes it's on Ebay for €150 :(
