Never ever have your toy signed! Especially if it's dark because the inks available will smudge and/or fade. If you want the signature, always ask to sign the box of the header card or the card. Period. (Only exception is if the signature is on the foot and won't spoil the design if anything goes wrong.)

All the AP's were signed, I didn't realise until it arrived.
Not an excuse for an artist of this caliber to make such a faux pas in my books. -

MAD usually signs all of his vinyl from the site. not unless you ask him not to.
but I do know what you are saying Dan maybe he should know that it would have a possibility of doing that. -

AP's are always singed indeed. BUt sometimes artists make mistakes. I gota a Beast Brothers AP and they used a VERY sticky ink for the accessory, which is sort of inexcusable. But at least they promised not to use the same ink in the future.
PS: Everybody should always thank hu8o because he's the greatest! LOL -

Yeah I never get figures signed anymore if I can avoid it. Too many in the collection have had the ink fade or smudge over time. If only I had known then what I know now. I will say most of my signed Mad'ls are still in perfect condition though.

Signed or not signed, I think its down to nothing more than personal preference.
However a professional artist like Mad, who is charging $150 for a toy, should know how to sign something without any problems.
And if they do make an error of judgement with what type of pen they use, they should be doing everything they can in the name of customer service to put the issue wright, not the 2 paragraph email equivalent of a polite "meh". -

Got one Today, pretty impressive sound for something some tiny, and reasonably priced.

Ah, just lost the thrill of the hunt and the game wore off and some people (not here!) left a sour taste to the vinyl world. I mean, there are still a few I want (and ones i wont give up!) and I will still lurk, but not gonna devote the level of energy and and cash to it I have :) I'm selling cause I think there are others out there who can give the pieces better homes :)

man, not a troll, this is a review / comments section. i believe i have commented on maybe 3 things in ure collection. theres no need for getting personal or name calling. here all i did was point out that others will comment on stuff, its not an attack on u. i am here a lot and comment both positive & negative on many toys. its discussion, lighten up

NuTTzO, what happens is any toy uploaded to the site appears on the front page so people click on it to see what it is then sometimes a comment will follow. It isn't anything against you alone.

I like this one. That's the thing about art, everyone has different opinions. I appreciate the spiral motif and I love the mouth on this custom, plus I think the green/aqua combination is nice.
I understand why NuTTzO might have felt overly criticized because it hurts when someone says "I don't like a single piece of your work" or "there is better work around", but then again, criticism is part of life and you just have to deal with it.
