um, i'm all for home produced toys but....... is that a poorly cut out paper face stuck to sculpy? in an edition of one owned by the creator? im not sure if this has a place here? how do others feel about this?
-
agreed, but saying that I have some shabby one off self customs on here which I own also, but I'm happy for those to be deleted also.
-
@dan - links to your self produced pieces? giz a peek!
i'm not being harsh but im just not sure this really has a place here, a poor custom on a platform i can forgive / accept even if i dont dig it but this really just makes me think pre-school, lopsided paper face. im sorry, i mean no disrespect @topzza

-

Still not feeling his stuff man, if you like it thats cool. But he needs to improve his skills if he wants to make it big in the toy scene.
-
aye, one of a kind, but really, i can get one spray it blue and say its a custom. shows no skill or imagination imho.

though saying that, this is a poor copy of lukes as said above, u cannot seriously believe it is better... i find it just short of something id expect as a dollar store bootleg of the luke cheuh
-

thx, shawn wigs made the oreo dunnys and now custom paints them. this is a Wu-Tang c.r.e.a.m. painted dunny, signed by Ghostface Killah with a pic of him holding it lol. thought it was cool
-

I think its cool, the story of an object is the best part!
-
maybe he should stick to rapping, his customs aren't great
-
Looking at this: http://rotocasted.com/toy/171... I really have to agree with jazzydan.
I ain't a custom wizard myself, but when putting a custom-product into a hand of famous, and legendary, rapper, I would think of putting a BIT more effort into the finishing.
But no hating or anything, each to their own I guess. -
13 years ago
yeah sorry, that did sound a bit negative, it was more like he needs to practice his skills a lot more before putting them out in to the public domain, as he already has an image to uphold.
-
from my point of view these are more name-fame than skill
-
yeah, i mean no offence but i just dont see these as well executed or even in my opinion interesting customs, maybe the oreos were a little interesting but still not very high standard from what i could see. of course if u love them thats ace, theres a lot of stuff i dont dig out there but theres always someone who loves it
-
No worries mate, people here voice their opinions, never take offence ;) personally i don't really dig any dunnys anymore, custom or otherwise! when it comes to price i guess you gotta weigh in a lot of factors; size, quantity, how damn much you 'NEED' it! as you say yourself, you're a new collector, in the future you may be super willing to spend that much on something you simply must have!
Now on to Art / Toys - maybe someone else should answer that!!!
